Geelong Cosplay Society At The Myer Christmas Window Launch

November 12, 2017 by Jade Craven

The launch of the christmas windows at Myers had just finished. I was taking photos of people admiring the windows when I noticed crowds beginning to form nearby. I walked over.

Cosplayers!

Glenn and I love our comic books. We’ve gone off some of the printed stuff recently but watch a lot of the DC TV shows and love the Marvel movieverse. I was stoked to see so many of my favourite characters represented (alas, no Captain Cold). I may have sent a cheeky text to Glenn about how he was missing out.

Later, as I was waiting for the Gala Day parade, I noticed all of them walking down Malop Street. It was… unusual.
