Lilypond Awning Damaged In Car Crash

September 23, 2019 by Jade Craven

Last week, I was doing photography along Moorabool Street. I was trying to capture the facades of most of the buildings, but had to throw out most of the images from the shoot as it was a bright day and I didn’t get the correct exposure.

The awning was damaged in a car accident the next day. According to the Geelong Advertiser, the car ‘smashed through the freestanding awning of homewares store Lily Pond before crashing through the fence of a home three doors down.’

I went to check out the damage the next day but it had been cleaned up.
