Geelong Quarter

The former building has been demolished at 44 Ryrie street. The site has since been empty. The work is scheduled to commence in late 2020.

181 Moorabool Street

A planned development at the Belcher Arcade building. You can read more at the Geelong Advertiser.

The Dennys Lascelles Tower

This new development, which will include 8 floors of office towers, was announced during September 2017. I haven’t been able to find more information, however the Techne Development website lists it as a current project.

Geelong Convention & Exhibition Centre

$170 million has been allocated to the new convention centre as part of the Geelong City Deal project. It will be built on the existing Deakin Waterfront Car Park site. In the short term, it may be worth photographing the car park and the buildings around this area before this precinct evolves.

Check out our dedicated page for updates.

Ryrie Street Market

The building at 100-108 Ryrie Street sold early in 2020. The Geelong Advertiser reported that the consortium that purchased it plans to build a hotel.
