Geelong Street Photography is a blog highlighting the changes occurring in our city. We are a township that is undergoing a massive transformation.
We lost our identity as an industrial town after a number of key factories shut down and, for many years, the central Geelong district was struggling to attract enough shop tenants. In late 2013, we noticed that there was a strong effort to revitalise this area and inject more creativity. It excited us and, as budding street photographers, we decided to photograph it.

The Geelong waterfront is one of our favourite locations to photograph. It is becoming a popular venue for events and is fun for people watching.

Events are fun for trying out different photography techniques. We get a wide variety: events held at night, sporting events and fun markets.
